This is the last update available for devices running macOS Sierra 10.12, macOS High Sierra 10.13, and macOS Mojave 10.14 because we’re dropping support for these versions. This doesn’t affect subscriptions in any way – you will still be able to use NordVPN on these versions. To receive further NordVPN app updates, your device must run macOS Catalina 10.15 or a later version. Threat Protection improvements beneath the surface. Tracking parameters – those tiny bits of text at the end of web links – are a privacy buzzkill. They’re made to track your interactions with social content, emails, ads, and websites. To enhance your privacy, Threat Protection now removes tracking parameters from web addresses as you browse. Shorter and cleaner URLs mean more privacy and convenience when bookmarking or sharing links with friends. Enable it in Threat Protection settings. Each device in Meshnet now shows whether it’s online or offline, which is handy when you’re picking a device to route all your traffic through. A few pesky bugs are nothing but a distant memory. Meshnet is great for accessing and sharing files, playing multiplayer games, or getting some work done on shared projects! Link up to 10 of your own devices and 50 devices of other NordVPN users. With the sideloaded NordVPN app, other devices can also route their traffic through your Mac. We continue to improve Threat Protection so that it’s always top-notch in shielding your device from cyber threats. Not a problem! CyberSec is still available as Threat Protection Lite, blocking malicious sites and ads while connected to VPN. We cleaned up the app, adding some general stability fixes and improvements for even better VPN performance. (App Store) We’ve fixed a bug that had slipped into the previous release and prevented the app from launching while offline.

Just like CyberSec before, Threat Protection Lite shields you from malicious websites to give you a safer browsing experience. Fixed: It wasn’t your eyes deceiving you – recent server locations were duplicating when you repeatedly connected to the same location. Not anymore. Fixed: A bug that slipped into the previous release and didn’t let you access devices in a local network when connected to VPN is gone now. Fixed: For some of you, a VPN connection was preventing email clients from working properly – sorry for the interruption. We’ve detected and eliminated the culprit.
